Letter from the President - by: Jean Riley
June 21, 2019
I hope this letter finds you all well. Please remember to comply with watering restrictions, with the hot summer months coming up we want to make sure there is enough water.
Many of you may have seen construction work near the school at the intersection of Lewis Street and Lake Helena Drive. The County has a project to address stormwater drainage in this area. They will be adding drop inlets and storm sewer pipes. If you have any questions on the project you can contact the County – Dan Karlin – County Engineer – 447-8034.
There is another project forthcoming in this area. The Montana Department of Transportation is working on a Transportation Alternative project that will install sidewalk on the north side of Lewis Street from Lake Helena Drive to Oak Avenue near the middle school. The plan is to have sidewalk on the northside of the existing ditch. If you have any concerns or want updates on this project you can contact Montana Department of Transportation - Dave Holien – 444-6118
We will be continuing to post information on the web page. Please sign up for the alerts so you can be kept up to date on all the news.
Have a great and safe summer.
